Individualized Psychological and Consultation Services for Children, Families and Schools
I have worked with children and their families in many capacities for 20 years. Some of my professional experiences have included: working as school psychologist with children ranging from nursery through high school, the provision of psychological services to children and their families in a private practice setting, and through the direction, supervision and teaching of psychologists in training.
I have also been actively engaged in research and scholarly activities and have published and presented my work in peer-reviewed journals, highly regarded books and at national professional conventions. Further, I have been involved in the leadership of various professional organizations, and regularly provide professional development and consultation services to practitioners and education personnel.
To be able to effect change and make progress, a problem must be thoroughly understood. Many times, a problem will manifest as a function of disruptions that are occurring in the environments in which the individual interacts with regularly. Therefore, my approach to every service that I provide begins with a through analysis of the problem(s) at hand. In my analyses, I consider the whole person as they relate to the various environments in which they interact.
Oftentimes the greatest obstacles we face can lead to the discovery of our own areas of personal strength. I am here to listen, understand, and join you on your journey to provide you with a data-based perspective that can help illuminate your path ahead.
